Buchach Humanitarian Aid

From May 2022 to May 2023, the organization operated in the Ukrainian town of Buchach, which served as its first independent base. The main goal was to support internally displaced people from war-affected areas such as Mariupol, Bakhmut, and Kramatorsk. The aid mainly took the form of food packages, hygiene supplies, clothing, and electronics. It was targeted support delivered directly to specific families according to their current needs.

At the beginning of the invasion, the organization supported approximately 3,000 to 4,000 people. During the first seven months, it distributed more than 4,200 packages, and in 2023 it focused mainly on the most vulnerable groups, namely seniors, people with disabilities, and widows. Logistics also played an important role. The town provided a warehouse in the premises of the former post office, and thanks to cooperation with the mayors of 30 surrounding villages, aid also reached the wider region.

As the need for material aid in this area gradually declined, the organization decided in May 2023 to move its capacities and resources closer to the Kherson front, where the situation was more acute and the need for humanitarian assistance significantly higher.
