"Stop the Drone" - protective nets for Ukraine

In response to the ongoing and intensive attacks by Russian unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) on critical civilian infrastructure, supply routes, and unprotected civilians, we launched a specific humanitarian aid project called “Stop the Drone”.

The key to reducing the risk of attacks has proven to be the construction of protective net corridors. These barriers, made of nets, are installed along roads and above exposed locations such as bus stops. Their effectiveness lies in their ability to slow a drone down, divert it from its course, or cause it to lose speed. This gives those under attack crucial time to react and significantly reduces the effectiveness of strikes.

As the director of our organization, Matouš Bláha, said: “The purpose of drones is clear – to divide and to kill. By covering critical routes with nets, we change the balance of power: we reduce the risk, gain time, and give people a chance to react.”

We obtain hundreds of tons of old, discarded fishing nets free of charge from the Netherlands. These nets are highly effective, and the only obstacle is securing the funds to transport them to Ukraine.

But this is where you can help!

One truck is capable of transporting approximately 20 tons of nets. This amount is enough to cover about 27 kilometres of road corridors.

Help dispatch the trucks and protect the people of Ukraine!
