Water filtration for Kherson
Our current flagship is the transport and operation of big filtration units that can provide 20,000 to 30,000 liters of water per day. These units are originally intended for soldiers and DEKONTA a.s. provided twelve of them free of charge.
The role of the Corridor is not only to ensure their smooth and safe transport to the Kherson area, but also to select a suitable place sufficiently supplied with water for filtration, to provide and train volunteers for their operation and finally the distribution of treated water to the surrounding area.
After the detonation of the Kachovka reservoir, the availability of drinking water is one of the biggest problems in the whole of southern Ukraine. The Kherson area in particular has been affected the most, as flooding has contaminated wells, boreholes and water pipes.

Summer camps for children
In the summer of 2023, we, the UA Corridor, together with the Initiative Stádo, are organizing camps in the western part of Ukraine – the Zakarpattia region. It is a camp for children affected by the war in the worst way, the loss of their homes and their parents.
Our goal is to prepare a week without worries, full of experiences, games and friendly atmosphere, so that they can forget at least for a while the misfortunes and horrors they have gone through during the past year and which are constantly happening in Ukraine.
During this summer, there will be four camp tours, attended by more than 120 children aged 9 to 17. Children will be taken care of by a team of young animators enriched by experienced psychologists who will actively devote themselves to “our” children.
Of course, the camp is fully free of charge, mainly thanks to our sponsors and donors.

Mobile point of invincibility – Magirus
For a very friendly price, we bought a special truck with a wide range of uses. It is necessary to start importing aid to the areas that have just been liberated and to stabilise distribution points. Due to the constant threat of missile attacks, we decided on a mobile solution.
Magirus has undergone a great transformation under our hands from a car operating repairs of Czech motorways to a Mobile Point of Resilience equipped with a source of electricity including solar panels, drinking water and shower, Internet access and plenty of space for transporting people and humanitarian material. And all this can get you wherever you need very quickly. Magirus thus serves freshly liberated villages or places near the front.

Culture against War – festival in Uzhhorod
On the third weekend of April 2023, we organized a festival in Uzhhorod, Ukraine, to help the local population recharge their batteries and allow children to forget the hardships of war for a while.
We organized a theatre and music festival, which brought quality Czech theatre and music artists to Ukraine and also allowed Ukrainian artists to show their talents.
Another aspect of this initiative is to provide a specific one-off job opportunity for Ukrainian theatre artists, authors of staged texts and the actors who perform in them. Even a one-off paid job opportunity is an act of solidarity and an impulse that can bring new strength to the Ukrainian cultural space. The third aspect of the festival is the networking aspect.

300 windows for UA
Meaningful use of excess, that’s how we can describe the project where we took 300 unused but very high quality windows to Ukraine. Given the daily shelling, you can imagine how many windows have to be replaced.
And because the project proved successful, the main author of the project, Ernest, decided to continue with it. So he is looking for more windows in good condition, which no one will use in our country, but in Ukraine they can significantly help many people survive the winter. Transport of hospital beds
Unfortunately, but understandably, there is also a shortage of hospital beds in Ukraine. Thanks to the hospitals in Domažlice and Stod, we can deliver 189 beds and 112 tables to where they are most needed, to hospitals in Kherson and Mykolaiv regions.
We thank the hospitals, Mrs. Magdalena Pospíchalová, all those who really stretched their muscles during the loading and also our donors who contributed money for fuel.

Well for Mrs. Irene’s shelter
We built a well for Mrs. Irene’s dog and cat shelter in Balta, Ukraine. In this shelter, Irena keeps over 120 dogs and cats, which she feeds and sterilizes at her own expense. Unfortunately, she is now retired and her health is not the best. The nearest water source is located very far away. The well will allow Mrs. Irena to take care of the animals even better.

Heat for Kherson
Not long after Kherson was liberated, we began to help there intensively. After the Russian occupation, people there lacked even such basic things as material for heating in the stove. In two trucks, we imported 20 tons of briquettes to the Kherson region and distributed them to the most vulnerable and needy. Surviving the difficult winter in half-ruined houses was a little easier for many.

Collection Center for Ukraine
Our goal is to bring together all organizations that want to persevere in their help. By uniting under one logistics network, we also help to reduce transport costs to a minimum. The backbone of this network will be a truck provided by the UA Corridor. The areas where the truck cannot reach will be covered by vans with our drivers and drivers of friendly Ukrainian organizations.

Humanitarian corridor directly to Ukraine
We help all people who have been caught unprepared by the war and have not managed or simply do not want to leave their homes. Together with other volunteers, we organize warehouses, transport and distribution directly to Ukraine, where we cooperate with other organizations.
